PRESS RELEASE
On March 24, 2007, the Tacoma Washington Chapter of
The Painting and Decorating Contractors of America, PDCA, repainted the main headquarters of The Family Renewal Shelter in
Tacoma. This project was done by an all volunteer crew using paint and supplies donated by associate members of PDCA.
The Family Renewal Shelter is a group of shelters and programs dedicated to helping women and children that are victims of
extreme domestic violence to escape their current situation and to move on to a new, productive and safe life. The organization
is a non profit group, supported entirely through private sources.
